Best Lyme Doctor in CT or neighboring states

So sorry that your son has Lyme but thankful that you now know what you are dealing with.

If your are able to travel one of the best llmd's is a Dr.J in Washington, D.C.

There is a top pediatric in Ct also a DR. J but your son is 18 so not sure if that will help.

Some things your son can do now, are eating healthy(Gluten free or paleo), detoxing the body, building his immune system up and avoiding stress.

dr. P. in CT has a Facebook page with someone who is treating LD (with a different LLMD though) . They are writing a book together... I'm impressed with him.

Well I did choose Dr J clinic - I recently flew across the continent to go there.

I never saw Dr P, his wait list was too long when I was looking for my 1st LLMD. He is one of the top LLMDs around. If you can see his assistant without too long of a wait his high first appointment cost will be saved from reduced travel time.

My LLMD in RI follows some of his protocols and she also consults with Dr H in NY, but she's booked into Fall 2018.

I was wondering who you see in RI? I'm also in RI. Does he/she do any treatments besides antibiotics?

I started a tetra, diflucan, alinia 2 week on and 2 week off pulse last May, and have gradually worked up to 4 weeks off. This is my second attempt to wean off ABX. In March 2015 I stopped ABX but relapsed in three months. I also take GSE, Astragalus, JK Plus blend and Hout full time. May drop Hout soon as well. Besides herbals, my LLMD also has had me experiment with various alternative remedies like Minuka Honey, Takuna, and Inositol.

Hey Girlie. I still have some lingering neuro issues that could be from the infections, or permanent damage, or just need more time to heal. So I can't say I can wait for 2 months of sx free before quitting.

I'm on my second four week off cycle this past year and so far so good. Much better than my last four week off cycle in Sept 2017. Just trying to get the immune system working again. I'll wait until my next LLMD appointment in July before making any more changes. But I'm OK at 90 to 95% functional and increasing my OFF abx pulse one week at a time.

I’m also a Dr. P patient and although I don’t personally know his NP or the new Dr. at his practice I do know that he was extremely particular about who he wanted to bring on board. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either of them. Just having Dr. P at the helm and directing things would be fine with me if I couldn’t see Dr. P himself.
