I've been so sick, the usual exhaustion, digestive issues, etc. Then I got the flu, which gave me a 102.5 fever for weeks, and my body temp is normally 97.2.
Plus, I had a house listed for sale in the coldest January ever. I was too sick to drive, so I would go across the street when there was a showing, with a vantage point of the house and wait for them to leave. Thankfully, I had heated seats😏 The house sold in 6 weeks, thank God, now I have a move to look forward to.
A few weeks ago I had bloodwork done to check my immuglobin levels My G was quite low, showing a tanked immune system...Although this is something I definitely didn't want to hear, If it provides an answer on why I never seem to heal, I'm thrilled. Now the doctor is running tests for the G subclasses to try to pinpoint what is at the cause.
Treatment is IV treatment for an undetermined amount of time. The cost is compared to chemotherapy and very expensive. Chemo that I had 4 years ago could very well be a contributing factor to where I am today. 😐
My LLMD is writing letters to insurance providers, etc, in an effort to get me approved. She is optimistic that it can be done and feels good about
this treatment for my situation.
I also have a ct scan in a few weeks for my cancer check. I am 4.5 years clear!
Please keep me and this favorable insurance decision in your prayers. Thank you all!
