I will get intense head pressure when I stand up especially after I've been sitting or laying down for awhile. It can be so bad my hearing gets muffled and my feet will get tingly and it feels like i might pass out. It usually levels off after a few minutes but will return again. It usually leaves me with a terrible headache in the front of my forehead - so bad that no advil or aspirin helps - the only thing that seems to help is an ice pack. It's so bad I can't even sleep. It literally feels like my head is smoldering. Sometimes my teeth will ache too. The next day I'm very nauseaus and weak feeling like the flu x10. My face is white and I feel like death. The only thing i can do is lay down. Thankfully it only lasts a day or two at the most. Once I recover from it I actually feel a lot better than I did before it happened. Certain things seem to trigger it - one being a deep tissue massage I had, physical therapy, yoga, stress, doing too much and sometimes not sure why.
Forgot to mention it varies in severity. It's not always super bad sometimes it's mild with just the head pressure thing.
