Abx Forcing Bugs Into Cyst Form?

Ever since starting treat in August of last year, I have only herxed at the end of each cycle after taking Flagyl. And it would make me worse for wear. We are addressing this by implementing a more aggressive detox regimen and taking 2 weeks off between cycles.

Anyhow, this got me thinking. Am I forcing the majority of bugs to transition to cyst form while on the majority of my treatment cycle? And this is why I'm pretty much ok during the bulk of the cycle, but can barely walk for the next week after 2 days of Flagyl?

Just finished cycle 1 and it wasn’t too bad - even with the double dosing of Mepron.
It was just M/W/F tho.

I’m hesitant to say this - for fear of jinxing it - but I’ve bern having more “almost symptom free” blocks of time on some days. A good majority of the day/evening.

But I also had one of those days on the return trip home from the appt a month ago.
And to muddy the waters - I started Gabapentin a few weeks ago (after the appt) - had tried it in 2016 but it didn’t work.


Maybe it’s masking the pain etc.BUT that doesn’t explain the good day on our trip home.
