Celiac and low stomach acid

Hey guys just a quick question. Does/could celiac disease cause low digestive enzymes production and low stomach acid? I realize these conditions could potentially cause celiac, but could celiac cause these two? Thanks guys 😁

Celiac is an autoimmune disorder. If you have the gene, there is a chance you can develop it. I was diagnosed after giving birth to my third child. The only reason they found it is because my neurologist tested the antibodies separate. The regular panel will test ttg-iga and if you aren't deficient or elevated they don't test igg. My iga was 91 with >90 being deficient. My igg was positive. For three years I thought I had a neurological manifestation of celiac because I never had stomach issues and even had a negative biopsy, only issues in every other body system. Turns out it was the Lyme and Bart all along. However stopping gluten did reduce my Lyme symptoms greatly for two years. I can't even describe the magnitude of the symptom reduction by going gluten free.

I fully believe my celiac was triggered by having undiagnosed and untreated Lyme, Bart and possibly babesia for 20 years. I've read a lot of research studies about Lyme basically becoming an autoimmune issue when it's found in late stages and triggering other autoimmune disorders.

I don't know much about stomach acid and digestive enzymes. I was not told my stomach acid is low. I have trouble absorbing vitamins and nutrients though and need to take sublingual coenzemated vitamins and shots.

If you have the classic intestinal damage from celiac than your body would have difficulty making stomach acid and digestive enzymes until you heal your gut.
