Hello everyone,
So, I grew up in the mid-Atlantic and can recall several times when I came across a tick. However there was one time in particular where I was bitten right on the area your blood is drawn from in the arm. I was 11 and I have since suffered many health issues. I kind of always felt tired throughout my childhood, got sick often, heart arrhythmia, and suffered from severe headaches at one point. When I was 16 I was diagnosed with SVT and needed a cardiac ablation. Well I am now nearly 30 and have a cardiac monitor in where I was diagnosed with PVCs- which apparently they aren’t sure why I feel them? So I have now had two heart issue.. which honestly concerns me and I feel I have a right to understand why and what is going on. I keep getting treated like I am crazy for wanting get to understand And like I shouldn’t be concerned at all. I have suffered from sinus and ear infections for the last 6 years of my life, which has been spent in Seattle. I seem to have food allergies, no gluten and can’t handle large amounts of diary. I also can’t handle alcohol anymore. My joints hurt a lot and I have been seeing a spine specialist. I had some siatica issues too. I did go on accutane about a year ago (6 months post right now) but I have had these issues way before the accutane. Anyway, doctors out here aren’t familiar with Lyme disease like they are on the east coast. I have had several bad experiences with doctors out here. I looked at my doctor and said “something feels wrong and I am just so tired of this”. It feels really frustrating we can’t figure out why I feel these PVCs or why I randomly have months where I am fine and then others when I feel crappy again. I have had full blood panels done and everything is in normal range. However I understand (pre nursing student) that PCP don’t always test or look for specific things. So I want to use true health labs to rule out Lyme Disease. Being that it’s 19 years later, does anyone know which test panels I should order?
Thank you!
