Azithromycin + malarone 8 days

Hi all,

Im on zithromax 250 day and malarone 250 day. This morning in bed, i felt like i was going to pass out, then its subsided. Then one hour later still in bed my head jerked strongly to the left, the body even lifted a bit and jerked the head lifted. I already had head jerks, but this time ir was strong. Is this herx or something? Any one had strong myoclonic jerks on sleeping while in treatment?

I had the jerks prior to treatment and with treatment it's subsided a lot...it was just in my right leg and would happen at night just before going to sleep. Rarely get it now.


It's a lyme and co's symptom.

She did prescribe it because i cant tolerate alchool, ir contains glycerin instead. But i heard glycerin is also alchool? Do you know if it is hard to stomach like alchool? If so i am doomed. My stomach Burns at the drop of alchool. Perhaps i Will take it with food.

The alcohol free tinctures are glycerine based.


I don't know how it is on the stomach, but in large quantities it can cause diarrhea...but tincture doses are relatively small..so I doubt if it will be an issue.

Taking the tinctures just before you eat is a good idea.

Like taking a drop and eat immediattly?

yes.

Buhner says that the tinctures can be taken prior to meals...so I would take all and then have my breakfast...then do the same for lunch and dinner.

Azithromycin caused body jerks and then neck head jerks. Very severe and haven’t gone away in months
