Anyone using cannabis to treat chronic Lymes?
Colorado? California?

Oh yes, important distintion. I was thinking relief of symptoms. Does it also have treatment effectiveness? What was your experience with CBD oil?

I actually went to a lyme conference that exclusively discussed using medical cannabis. The main takeaway was LIPOSOMAL CBD is the best. For pain, neurological symptoms. More is not always better. There is a big belief that microdosing around 2.5 mgs/dose is sufficient. I would start there and work up if needed.

CBD is an immunomodulator and it does take a few weeks to notice the difference from what many have reported.

If you are looking for sleep assistance you want to get an Indica THC strain. Vaping is good for falling asleep but if you have trouble staying asleep you want to take an ingestible like a capsule or tablet 10 mg is usually sufficient for most.

I forgot to add, CBD is a very potent antioxidant so it does offer some additional benefits aside from reducing inflammation. But I don't know that I've ever seen it recommended solely for treatment. It does have some antibacterial properties but not very potent. Its greatest action is immune regulation restoration so far though the clinical evidence at this time is pretty limited. Hopefully not for long.

There is a retired LLMD - Dr. E. Murakami here in BC, Canada who teamed up with Dr. Eva Sapi to do research on CBD oil (not marijuna) on biofilms and cyst form of lyme.

He has been promoting it for a few years now. There are some success stories with it.

I did give it a try in 2016...and unfortunately it didn't have any positive effects on my lyme and coinfections.

i'm thinking of buying a topical formula with cbd and thc mixed and see if that works for my nerve pain.
We're very close to marijuana being legal up here.

I tried a personal saturation test with microscopy ...i do believe it is wonderful for inflammation and symptom relief however i dont think it has antibacterial action enough for lyme borrelia ..
Regime for a few weeks was a nice dream ...using medical grade rick simpson oil , consuming flower and wax and edible daily for a few weeks did not seem to kill any spirochetes ...
