Looking for a LLMD in the Chicago area (or surrounding states)

Hello all,

I am new and overwhelmed. My 14 year old daughter has gotten a positive result on her Bartonella testing and some bands were positive (but not enough for an official "positive") on her igenix test for lyme.

Can anyone email me the names of any awesome LLMDs near Chicago, or the surrounding states? We'd be willing to travel even farther, but I figured I'd start locally, if possible. I would so appreciate it!

I am very sorry about your daughter and am glad to hear you are seeking out an llmd.

It has good and useful info on detoxing, testing, symptoms and more.

It would be wise to start building up her immune system, eating gluten free, paleo, no sugar or alcohol and plenty of rest.

I see Dr. Z on Chicago's north side. Although he is not an LLMD, he does treat Lyme Disease and has been doing it for 20+ years. I have been under his care for 6 months, ever since my Lyme doctor moved to Carolina. Email me if you want his contact information, as I cannot share it here online.

He does take some health insurances, something rare in the Lyme world.
