Looking for Heavy Metal/Detox advice. Restarting Parasite Protocol

I just googled DMSA vs DMPS and found this article. Looks like pretty good info. They lso mention benefits of bentonite clay for metal detox.

I'm not familiar with the website or the hair analysis testing they are promoting.

I just looked for Cutler's book. It's selling for $109 used to over $3,800 new on amazon. Guess I won't be getting Cutler's book.😕

Argh, no. It may have gone out of print. A new version is expected some time in the late fall (They've been saying that for some time. However, Andy died last year and his life partner is working to get it published.) Recommend you join FDC (Yahoo group) and ask if someone has any ideas or perhaps an extra one. The book is difficult to navigate (not well organized or indexed). So really think your best bet would be to check in to the Yahoo site. Check current discussions and files. Bentonite has a fairly large component of aluminum (14%?), which you may not want to add to the mix of metals.

Took a quick look at the Evenbetterhealth link. Way behind discussing availability of chelators and mostly discussing the need for very large doses, toxicity of DMPS, etc.

DMPS chelates mercury and arsenic. DMSA chelates mercury and lead. However, these are generally used by the Cutler folks to begin chelating, later adding in ALA. I began with DMPS at 12.5 mg and had to lower it progressively to about 3-4 mg. Would suggest you start at about 6 for a few rounds to see how that goes. And absolutely get together your nighttime dosing or you will create problems.

Once I lowered the amount of DMPS, I did not notice much, except some minor detox symptoms. DMSA, on the other hand, gave me serious detox/herx symptoms at low doses and I stopped after only 1 or 2 rounds.
