Thanks ahead for being patient with all my questions. Over the past 16 yrs, I've spent over $100,000 out of pocket on hospital bills, physicians, testing, cardiologist and endocrinologist. The money, like so many others is dry
. Besides that I've developed an allergy to almost all the class of antibiotics, except the fluoroquinolones. So after my diagnosis and reading Mr. Buhners books I began his protocol plus essential oils and missing mineral replacement. It's been 3.5 months. It has been very hard just working up to the lowest Buhner dosages. I am getting better, I ran a body temp of 95 degrees for years, its now up to a steady 98.6. I dont have the neck pain or jaw pain any longer. The fatigue, insomnia and breathing problems are still my main complaint. The Japanese knotweed has been the hardest to titrate up. I've made it to 1/2 tsp 3 times daily.
Heres the thing: I am seeing slow improvement but there are days I just cant take the full dosages, (maybe once a day). On those rare days I feel so much better. I want to get over this illness, So do I just push through everyday for a year or would it be wise to take a day off every week?
My GP has flat out told me, I know more about
chronic lyme than he does. Being able to afford seeing an LLMD this late in the game after all the money I've spent on other specialist is just not possible.
THanks,
Don
