Two (2) Months on this protocol and it's going well. I'm showing improvement. I added walking and lightly jogging in the mornings starting about 1/2 way through the month.
Some noticeable improvements are:
>half moons on my fingernails are brighter; my thumbnail half moon is not as transparent anymore with more white; I have 2 half moons on 2 toes now, although transparent, on my big toe and the one next to it (I didn't have any half moons last month on any of my toes)
>better structural integrity
>not binging as often or as much
>able to eat 1/2 grapefruit in the mornings with a rice protein drink; raw vegetables or cooked vegetables with a Tbsp of seeds (sunflower, hemp, flax, or pumpkin) and Tbsp of a vinegar (balsamic, rice, apple cider) or lemon juice; fruit at the end of a meal (strawberries, cherries, blueberries); yogurt; cooked food in coconut oil but not too often; eggs; yogurt; salmon and beans and goat's milk cheese (in moderation); almost no grains; added chlorofresh chlorophyll as a drink (2 Tbsp to a glass of water) along with the drinks I was already drinking (herbal tea, kombucha, lemon water, rice protein drink, spring or purified water)
>able to go with the flow because I keep a journal that helps me retrace things that happen; it helps to eliminate overreacting; helps me assess and make corrections; helps me accept a situation that is beyond my control while doing the best that I can
>less sniffles
Improvements from the 1st month are still occurring.
Recap:
*better short term memory (overall)
*no crying spells unexplained or otherwise
*fibromyalgia is now almost nonexistent
*my right knee bends now
*my shoulders do not have pain in them (occasional pain in left shoulder)
*happy times (I used to not feel happy)
*comfortable and relaxed most of the time
*improved diet (keeping a journal per Dr. Jernigan)
*able to eat raw vegetables and some fruit (used to be cooked)
*stress level is down
This month (the 2nd Month), I took Neuro Antitox II Basic, Lymogen, and I added 1 more remedy for allergies called Allermac. I take 2 squeezes (1 squeeze is about 1/3 of a dropper or 20 drops) of Lymogen and NA II Basic, and 1 squeeze of Allermac. I do this 3 times a day, usually before eating.
I've been fairly strong this month with walking and a little bit of low impact jogging in the mornings around 8am, not every morning but often. I started out 6 days the 1st week, and some weeks it is about 1/2 that for about 20-35 minutes. It's too hot here to walk later. Today it was 107 degrees and 96 at 10pm on the news, and in the sun my car registered 113 degrees. The coolest temperature is mornings. We're in a strong heat wave. I just take a cool shower when I get in. Occasionally I dry skin brush.
Some things that need attention for the 3rd Month of Recovery:
*do more of the Jernigan protocol: (I did minimum the 1st month and just a little more the 2nd month)
dry skin brushing, more epsom salt/hydrogen peroxide baths, add mustard footbaths, take a distilled water enema before and after coffee enemas, infrared saunas
*some constipation problems still; problems with enemas causing me stress; I do plan to start taking them again during the 3rd month. Deejavu and Heathersdad gave advice to help with the enema. Take a warm water enema (16 oz. distilled water at body temperature) and hold for 5 minutes before and after the coffee enema, and drink peppermint tea afterwards.
*stinging liver, take more milk thistle and, I think magoo2 said drinking lemon water is supposed to help the liver; and opugirl said to be sure to detox with lots of water, lemon, dry skin brushing, infrared sauna. I've been out of lemons for a while so I'll add that back in and start drinking lemon water and do those other things, too.
Something that happened the 2nd month that seemed to be a backup in my body from not detoxing fast enough causing me to go back a little with short term memory for a while. What I did to correct it was to cut back a little on amount of Lymogen to take. I was taking 2 squeezes with each squeeze being about 1/2 a dropper and now I take the same 2 squeezes but only about 1/3 of a dropper each. Also, I take an extra dose of Neuro Antitox II Basic during the day any time I have a headache, and I drink more purified water or other liquids. I don't have headaches that often now but I do need help sometimes.
I have better control over the smoke coming up to my apartment from the apartment below me by constantly doing laundry, washing bedding, vacuuming, keeping a window open. It is working better. I do get occasional headaches from that alone. I take a dose of Neuro Antitox II Basic for that whenever it happens.
When I do have a rare feeling of depression and feeling that I am at some stage of dying instead of living, now, it stems from the smokers binging all night for several nights. I used to think about dying all the time. Now, it' s more of a rare thing to happen, and it clears up when I get up and out of the room, take NAII and drink liquids and eat something healthy, open window. After I'm up for a while, and do those things, it clears and I feel good again.
I've learned to go with the flow again in life, and if I need to sleep during the day, I do that. Then I get up and get active doing laundry, squats, arm angels, lunges indoors when it's too hot; go to the store, do a light workout on machines at the fitness club; go eat at Whole Foods. Listen to music or watch a tv show that I like, work on my hobby.
I had the best compliment from my daughter on Sunday when she returned from being out of town. She said I look like I'm aging backwards.
