The CBD oil research seems to have died at this point. Retired LLMD EM was doing research with Dr. Eva Sapi...but haven't heard anything lately. I think they needed some $$ to take it to the next stage.
There are people on his fb page who got their lives back using the CBD oil.
I tried it a couple years ago...didn't help me unfortunately...
I tried CBD oil in collaboration with Rick Simpson Oil(THC) when being off of 8 months of antibiotics.
It's hard to say if it was strong enough to hold back my lyme infection, I think it did at some point, but my infection still came ravaging back. But by that time, I did slow down with using Rick Simpson Oil because it became costly. Since then, prices have come down in Michigan though. In all honestly though, I've tried many different herbs like Cats Claw that did nothing for me, I don't think I would of made it those 8 months free of antibiotics without marijuana and cbd oil.
I think both CBD oil and Rick Simpson Oil are incredible for inflammation, in all honesty the best, so if you're looking to treat inflammation and an overactive immune system, these both are the best herbs to do some in my personal opinion.
There's evidence cannabinoids are strong enough to kill antibiotic resistant bacterial like MRSA, but how powerful do the cannabinoids have to be and what type of cannabinoids?
/www.newswise.com/articles/new-mrsa-defense-new-study-reports-cannabinoid-effective-against-antibiotic-resistant-mrsaI think most herbs fail the test at treating chronic lyme because it's so resistant due to the borrelia self defense mechanisms. But I bet if marijuana was compounded in a lab and the most effective antibiotic cannabinoids were made into a drug, we might have something.
I still treat with marijuana along side my antibiotics, I've felt it not only helps with inflammation I don't really have anymore, but it also helps detoxing my system from the antibiotics.
Hemp has been quite useful in detoxing soil with radiation, as well as detoxing our own liver with these magical cannabinoids. Few articles...

/youtu.be/Ua_hSOuf2kkI think cure is a strong word to use, but without a doubt, it's helping modulate that man's immune system.
Turmeric has shown to prevent Parkinsons longterm, no doubt in my mind that cbd oil and marijuana do the same! There's some herbal companies, mixing both Turmeric with CBD oil...
So even though CBD oil and Marijuana may not be strong enough to hold a spirocete infection back, there are some incredible uses elsewhere for dealing with chronic lyme, both detoxing and inflammation.
And for those have trouble sleeping at night, smoking indica marijuana or swallowing rick simpson oil at night will knock you right out. I would do CBD oil by day, which doesnt get you high or sleepy and then do rick simpson oil by night.
It's good to understand and do research on the difference between the two so you understand. There's also a THC marijuana that will get you high, that won't make you sleep, it's Sativa Marijuana.
A lot of uses of hemp, aka marijuana, by no surprise to be my our own government have patents.
/www.thecannabist.co/2016/08/22/marijuana-patents-6630507-research-dea-nih-fda-kannalife/61255/“Naturally, it shows that there is a certain amount of hypocrisy that there is ‘no accepted medical use’ for cannabis according to federal law,” Mendez said. “And yet here you have the very same government owning a patent for, ostensibly a medical use for marijuana.
"U.S. Patent No. 6,630,507 covers the potential use of non-psychoactive cannabinoids — chemical compounds found within the plant species cannabis sativa — to protect the brain from damage or degeneration caused by certain diseases, such as cirrhosis."
