Experiencing issues with IV - did anyone cure neuro-Lyme symptoms any other way?

Hi all,

My LLMD has me on one IV of colloidal silver per month in conjunction with a strict herbal regimen, but unfortunately - for the first time in my life - I have been experiencing many complications from the intravenous treatments.

After the first IV push I developed my first blood clot (terrifying), and after my second treatment this week, they blew my vein and I now have a major hematoma on my arm. I couldn't even receive my treatment after that so they had to reschedule me to next week.

This said, I have asked my LLMD if there is *any way* that I can rid of some of my neuro symptoms (weird spaciness when walking outside, headaches, etc.) without an IV and he told me no - that the ONLY way to breach the blood/brain barrier would be through this.

Is this true sad I have read about many people who evaded IV treatments and still got better. Feeling a little stuck.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about the complications. That's kind of crazy that your doc says the only way to treat neuro symptoms is via IV therapy. Many oral abx cross the blood brain barrier. Many herbs as well.

Many ways to heal, but it can be a process. Have you looked into any herbal protocols? Buhner and Rawls are good resources and have some solid herbal protocols (Buhner has his basic protocols listed on his website).

I wouldn't want an IV of colloidal silver, there are many antibiotics with better evidence for their effectiveness.

Sorry to hear about your situation......Maybe time for a new dr?

Colloidal silver crosses the blood brain barrier when drank in quantity. It also has the effect of carrying other things with it. I got myself out of a jam years ago using colloidal silver, mms, and ozone water. I have been making/drinking drinking large amounts for 8 years, up to a quart per day. I use three 9v batteries and the purest .9999 silver. When made correctly there is no Turing blue smile

I had 30 days of iv rochephin last year, it did not ‘cure’ me. It’s not the ‘silver’ bullet I have had some ups and downs since, but I have felt very very good for about a week.

Neurobirrelliosis is complex and must be treated with an integrative plan.
Detoxing ammonia & mold, no gluten sugar diet, parasites, excercise, neuroplasticity, immune system building, killing infection, etc etc

I thought it was over for me...last few years were sooo painful and horrible. But keep going! My mind and energy are coming back, I’m actually feeling good.

If I was going to treat lyme and co's via IV's...I would only take the risks for abx...not silver.

But, now that you have had those issues...I would stop the IV"s.

You can get herbs/antibiotics into the brain.

I can tell you that the Mepron is getting into my brain for sure....and so is minocycline.

I treated a 30+ year infection with Lyme-N. I re-tested post treatment & I am spirochete free. I am still dealing with the co-infections, other infections & adrenal issues. I never took any course of oral or IV antibiotics for Lyme. There is a Facebook group called 'LYME-N Experience & Sharing Group' where you can ask questions & read past posts & watch one of the latest members video his experience with Lyme-N.

I may be wrong on this, but I believe I recall an LLMD, not sure which one, stating that lyme in the brain comprises bbb integrity which allows other abx into it. Again, I may be wrong. Too tired to research that claim at this moment.

ya i got a port a cath installed after 2 months of 3x a week torture (still have it )...dumped a lot of silver in there but i think it was bvt and rife that helped my neuro symptoms most...

the roceph did help with inflammation over time. maybe the autoimmune encephalitis component...
i gave both a few grand to the quack that was preying on desperate me and i also gave infuserve america a small fortune so its a different level of commitment if you want iv experience to be less "ptsd"y....

I had a lot of neuro symptoms that went away and I only took regular abx (mino and cefdinir) and then herbs.
