Just how significant is MTHFR?

Trying to get an idea of how significant MTHFR is. I have the mutation for C677T which means only 50% of folic acid and folate is converted properly for me.

Does having this completely prevent lyme and co infection protocols from working or is it not as severe as this??

Yup taking the methylated B's. How do you know if it's the lesser? The mutation is 677T/T came back positive which means 0% conversion but the 1298 A/A came back negative which means 100% conversation so I was informed it was 50%. Did I explain this right?

I also have the C677T type of MTHFR. My first fight with Lyme I did not know about it and had an extremely hard time with my vitamin levels. I was in remission for 4 years before I found out about the C677T and now a little over a year an a half after that diagnose I have relapsed with Lyme. My LLMD is also who diagnosed the C677T and he didn't think it would effect the lyme protocols. I just found a multivitamin gummy called SmartyPants that has the methelfolate and the methylfolated-b's. Bonus points it even tastes good! This is the first multivitamin that I have seen like it. I was soooooo excited to swap out some of my pills for these.
