Sourcing clean bulk Japanese Knotweed powder

Looking for a source of safe, clean, organic J.K. powder. Have referenced sources in Buhner, down to Plum Flower brand from 1stChinese. The cut (not powdered) is listed as organic, but, well, ahem, it's from China - as all bulk J.K. powder seems to be sourced from. There are some new players on that big retail website, but from the looks of it they use similar bulk sourcing and their own packaging - and reading less than stellar reviews about something I ingest on a regular basis scares me off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Where do you live?

Every spring i go out and dig up a couple lbs of knotweed roots, clean them, chop them up, dry them in the shade outside then stick them in the freezer. Last summer i made a tincture of some but usually put them in the freezer and make tea.

Im not saying you're up to doing all that but if you are able to, it's organic and free

You may want to look into Susquehanna Apothecary's shop on etsy. They used to sell bulk Japanese Knotweed powder that they grow and process themselves.
