Hi there,
So my 3 1/2 year old was diagnosed with babs and bartx2, eurlichia about
4 months ago, presumably contracted in utero.
My LLMD has her ONLY on A-Bart, A-Babs and A-L.
I occasionally have her taking 1/2 spoon full of monolaurin (anyone take this?) because I read somewhere on this site that its safe for her. Is it used for biofilm or as an antimicrobial?
My question is that it doesn't seem to be aggressive enough.....Obviously I don't want to bombard her innocent little body with antibiotics, but it just doesn't seem like we're treating aggressively enough.
Should she be on a biofilm dissolver??
(Been giving her 1 spray of Biocidin under tongue (ITS SUPER PRICY to give more than 1 or 2x/day, but if it works, we'll keep doing it). What else is safe for this little age?
Her sleep seems to have improved since the summer (she sleeps with us) and just thrashed around all night pre-diagnosis. She has a pretty mean temper (its hard to tell if its the infections or because I'm really really sick and her home life is totally off....). She's SUPER difficult, not at all how she was a year ago.......
And she still twitches like crazy while at rest (sleeping). Its so hard to sleep next to her because its a constant reminder of what we're both facing. She also has a CRAZY heat intolerance (looses it at the slightest rise in temperature (in the car etc.) and is really constipated most of the time.
What are SAFE and effective things (herbs?) to give her? I know I need to be more consistent about
giving her a daily probiotic. I want my baby to grow up as much as possible without these horrible infections.
Is it safe to give her Stevia, Sida Acuda and/or Houtineya tinctures in small quantities? My LLMD seems to think she's doing well enough with the Byron White formulas....and I''m frustrated and worried we're under treating, currently looking for a 2nd opinion.
Please share your thoughts, moms, or anyone else educated in treating children this age (please keep in mind i'm super volatile, worried and hyper sensitive due to my own infections - thank you),
Warmly & may we all be healed in a timely manner,
Sarah
