I have internal shivering - hard to describe it - I do get it when I’m not cold - so don’t know if I can call it chills... BUT being cold does bring it on - so does something that affects me emotionally - ie a really good song that I’m listening to .. or something emotional I see on tv...
Mine is down my spine and through my legs. But it has improved - I’m no longer waking with it in the morning. Or at least rarely and minimal - as it’s just in my legs when I’m woken with it now.
I hate hate it. It’s second worst symptom after my nerve pain in my upper back, left arm and hand.

I had what I called chills on the inside when symptoms first started. I don’t know which infection it was.

I have Borrelia Burgdorferi & Bartonella, and I have constant internal vibrations that increase and decrease in strength, but it’s always there. I also experience the sensation of chills on both legs, usually at the same time. Similar to what Girlie said, they show up at random times for weird reasons. And, I have bouts of being cold.
