some were totally normal (CD57, CMP, MSH, C3a, trans. growth factor, ADH, some genes), and some pointed to Lyme or mold (VIP, C4a, other genes, MMP-9).
I tested my house with the Mycometrics ERMI, which found very large amounts of mold, but they're not the ones that typically cause symptoms in humans. They're species of Cladosporium and Aureobasidium, and they don't produce any of the toxins that the fancy Real Time Labs test measures;
I'm considering living in my new car or a new tent for a couple of weeks, to see if I feel better....
1). C4a is the one of greatest significance for mold. Shoemaker says it has to be drawn by a certain lab and sent to Nat’l Jewish. Mine were not done right.
2). Were those species in Group I or II of the ERMI? Realtime only covers a few mycotoxins. Those are not the only mycotoxins you could be exposed to. If you have large amounts of mold, whether in Group I or II or both, that’s not good and you will want to do something about
it. Find out why it’s there. Correct what’s wrong with the environment so it’s not conducive to mold growth. Finally, clean the environment and use dehumidifiers if needed and air purifiers.
3). A tent would probably be better. A new car is off-gassing lots of chemicals even if you don’t notice it.
