Would be great to hear peoples experiences with Dapsone?

Are they in remission after the treatment? Haven't heard much about it lately...

Dr SP from ct talked about it (and lots of other) topics in his last facebook video on friday....he said he has heard it has helped some people, but he also has many patients who have taken it with another dr, and were still sick with no improvements....so its not the golden cure...i believe he said it was similar in makeup to bactrim ( i think it was), and he thinks dapsone is a little more on the risky side....he is very deliberate and risk/reward analyzing compared to other aggressive treatment llmds

Dapsone alone won’t do it.. it all depends what abx is taken with it .

I read the study several months ago when it was posted on here..,
I don’t recall it mentioning the abx ?

I’m taking it with three other abx at same time.

Was a pretty good med for me but like dbwilco mentioned not a golden cure. It turns out my issue was that babesia was holding me back, so the dapsone, while helpful to a degree, was only able to take me so far until I directly addressed babesia. I think it's a therapy to consider but maybe only on the backend after other protocols and treatment angles have been explored.

what infection does dapsone target? and also what infection diaprim target?
