Hey All
I have been treating with Byron White's formula and have noticed that my hair has been thinning a lot (no hair falling out yet). So thin that you can see the scalp even with long hair. It started during my treatment.
Is hair thinning a side effect of Byron White's A bart, a Bab and A lyme formula?

I think hair thinning happens to a lot of us as a result of thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal dysfunction. I am not aware of it happening as a result of BW Formulas. Perhaps others have other experiences, but I'm not aware of hair loss as a herx. (Of course, with Lyme, maybe anything is possible.)

I don't know if it is a herx but I had a whole year's worth of hair falling out and I attributed it to a flare up (due to bad diet - oops). I also agree it's thyroid and adrenal related.

I think bartonella and/or toxoplasma and other diseases can also cause massive hair loss.
I think a strong herx will also cause some hair loss due to the stress it puts on your body.

I've gone though stages when the Lyme symptoms get worse, more hair starts falling out. But when I feel better, it seems not only does it stop falling out, but it seems to grow back. But it could be the Lyme and co-infections are impacting the thyroid.

Yes, I definitely lost hair while herxing but I just pushed through and it came back. I was losing hair from my beard even.

I lost hair when I was sick. It seemed to be more from bart than borrelia.

Could be. I think there is a lot of stress put on the body from abx.
You could try iRestore hair laser. I wouldn't recommend it for the full 25 minutes. That gives me a headache. I use it for 15 mins a day. It's safer than propecia and rogaine, but those are options as well. Some people have really bad/permanent side effects from propecia. There are a couple forums about
guys with "post finasteride syndrome" which impacts sexual function and brain cognition. I thought I had this for years, before I was diagnosed positive for lyme disease.
Rogaine can give you heart problems because it is heart medicine.

Over time I’ve learned that what I have usually been attributing to thyroid fluctuations has now been (for me!) tied to Candida and/or mold.
Also retested back up high on lead so it’s a possibility in this mix we call .... life.

Im using nasal rinse with edta in the am and amphotericin b in the pm for the sinuses
Using interphase plus on a seven day on seven day off (replenishing vitamins and minerals on the off days hard core)
Leaning on chlorella and Zeolite for pulling off what the treatments pull out
Sorry for the slow reply!!
