Ate some uncooked pork ribs yesterday: freaking out at parasites.

Hello everyone,

As a Lyme sufferer, we know how parasites can be a factor in keeping us sick.

Yesterday, I made the mistake to have a few bites (4) of a uncooked pork rib for dinner (7PM). The ribs came from the freezer.
Today, I woke up with a mild stomach cramp that don’t go away when I go to the bathroom.

I’m freaking out about having worms right now.
What would you do?
I have some Alinia ABX left I could be having...

Was the food very cold? If I eat something ice cold from the fridge I get stomach cramps.
On a side note, my cat vomits if she eats cold meat from the fridge (she eats raw meat), I always warm it up in a little bit of warm water :D

i dont know if alinia will have a effect on helminith or larvae i think against protozoan . i know i was hcl deficiency due to h pylori which made meat digestion difficult. i would make a wormwood decoction and take lots of magnesium see what comes out if you cannot afford legit testing

Relax, if you have parasites they are treatable, and there's a good chance we all have them already.

you may consider just not eating pork-I gave up pork and sushi-not big deal

There's parasites in any kind of animal meat, and I believe produce as well. Everywhere basically.

Believe me I usually always have my meet « well done ».
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat Pork againa after this.

The pork ribs was not frozen anymore when I ate it. I’ve put it almost straight from the freezer to the oven, which wasn’tthe best idea from the start.
It was one of those moment pf stupidity; didn’t realize how uncook the meat was until I hate 4-5 good bites.

I have an appointment with a doctor tommorow.. my stomach hurt more now.
I hope none of the medications will interact with mino/clari...

What freak me out the most about Trichinosis is that apparently when the larvas get disseminated in your body, you can’t really ever get rid of it ever.

But your stomach hurting is your only symptom?
Maybe it hurts because the raw meat is hard to digest.

Hopefully, it shouldn't be trichinella, meat gets checked before being distributed for consumption.
I read that freezing the meat also kills the larvae!

Freezing food should kill parasites. How are your cramps now?

I get the panic though! Whose got the energy to fight off more parasites when you're already fighting a bunch of other battles!

itsnotjustlyme: YES!! That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm already battling something major.. now this on top of it.
My cramps are almost totally gone today.
I still don't know for sure if I have Trichinosis (the worm from eating raw pork), but my LLMD gave me a prescription for 13 days of mebendazole (400MG TID).
A infectiologist I saw today told me to not to that treatment at all, that I probably didn't have Trichinosis as it's "rare" in North America. He said it was most likely E-coli or some other virus/bacteria that would resolve on it's own.

I decided to do the 13 days.. but feeling a bit bad about it: my liver enzymes were already too high, and for the first time I found a way to make them go a bit lower... I feel this is going to wreck that little edge I got.
