So I finally visited a biological dentist, the appointment I waited for for three months, and kind of left disappointed, but this was, as always, due to my expectations (of Deus ex machina lol). Anyway, she was just - well, a dentist. On the other hand, she might be the first doctor that I met in the last year and a half that actually had a solution, an answer, and right off the bat, so after a few days, I started realizing that I maybe did get this miraculous solution I was hoping for.
She was unfamiliar with dental borrelia and dental MARCoNS (and MARCoNS in general for that matter, testing etc), mold, and anything of that kind. To show her familiarity with lyme she brought up more than once that people do parasite cleanses (mimosa), and use the IR sauna.. The insisting on two things rather shows one's unfamiliarity with this monster of ours, but it does show a good intention. She examined my teeth, went on to talk about fillings, but this was not what I came for. My fillings are not amalgam, and are not my concern at the moment. I have been suffering with pain in my teeth, clicking and popping in my sinuses, numbness in gums, receding gums, terrible sensitivity, nerve pain, pain in my entire face, not to mention TMJ, swollen lymph nodes... I suffer from mold toxicity, so mold in sinuses could have something to do with dental problems, as I read from others' testimonies, MARCoNS could have formed and can become dental MARCoNS, borrelia could be messing up my TMJ and jaw... WHAT health professional to turn to in this instance? I have heard such appraisals of biological dentists resolving so many mysterious health issues that I guess I mistook them for LLMDs, which they are not...
So, I was sitting there, surprised and confused. What I was expecting was an in depth conversation about these matters, and some relief.
We did an X ray that showed nothing. Then I asked about the cavitat scan (which is one of the reasons why I went there, as I understood it can pick up things that X ray doesn't show), but I was wrong (poor research!), she explained to me that you only need a cavitat scan IF you have cavitations, that is, extracted teeth, root canals. (But you can get a cavitation from dental borrelia?) Cavitat scan needs an actual hollow to work and show something. A better scan than a regular X-ray would be a 3D cone beam CT, but they do not have that. (ahhh, my llnd advised to see another dentist that did these scans, but I chose this one for being biological and having a cavitat scanner).
But, as soon as I explained my problems she asked if I was clenching my teeth in my sleep. Maybe I am? Sometimes I wake up literally chewing, I did this for as long as I can remember. But why would it be so much worse now? I remember reading somewhere that borrelia in TMJ can make you grind your teeth. She explained that this (it's called bruxism) is very common, and is due to stress. That certainly makes sense. It causes pain in TMJ, pain in teeth, gums recession(!) because the tissue around the teeth root is constantly being injured from all the pressure.
In two weeks I will get my splint and see if there will be any improvement from this. I certainly do hope this is the only cause of my problems. It did bring me some peace of mind. I guess the more I was worried about my teeth, the more I clenched my jaw at night. I saw a regular dentist a few months ago for the same issues, but they never thought of this.
Do you guys have any advice on how to stop grinding my teeth? I guess the solution is in reducing stress but.. haha.
Anyway, here is a good example of how to screw yourself over even more when you're already all messed up. How to eat yourself alive etc ;)
Because I was somehow caught by surprise with her unfamiliarity with anything lyme, I FORGOT to ask about ozone injections. I know they administer them.
So I wanted to ask you guys, those of you that did get them, what particular problem did you treat? Was it for cavitations only? Did it positively affect in any way your sinuses, jaw, I read that ozone spreads through the entire jaw because of natural micro "tubes" in dental and bone tissue. Any input is much appreciated.
Thanks a lot for reading through this novel.
