Does this sound like Lyme?

Hi, I've been reading on this forum for a while and finally setting post.
My medical history started when I was 17 and started feeling like my heart was stopping with chest pain and lightheaded.
Well the doctor didn't find anything so just said anxiety and sent me on my way.
But as the years went down on I got more symptoms and they'd come and go. One alternative guy said I had lyme and co and treated me with magnetics or something and i felt Better for a while. But every time something stressful happens it comes back. And this last time has been hell for a month and I've convinced myself I have heart disease even though I'm only 28.
Anyway these are the symptoms I can remember.

Chest/rib pain
Chest pressure
Adrenaline feeling in chest and arms
Breath shortness
Arm and shoulder pains
Back pain in left side
Tingling/pain in left hand and fingers
Burping
Heart feels like it flutters or beating slow
Jittery/shaky can't relax
Bad Fatigue
Throbbing pains in neck and legs
Nausea
Low blood pressure
Black spots in vision (not floaters)
Hot flashes
Dizzy
Lightheaded
Sharp Pain behind eyes
Burning feeling in Random places
Headaches
Muscles get sore and achy from work I do all the time. (Like flu type feeling)
Poor exercise tolerance
Bad anxiety attacks
Panic and depression, which I just started having trouble with.

I'm so lost and stressed because I've been having to take time off work and just feel like I'm going to drop dead at any moment.

I realize in the odd man out on this forum but Mercury posining along with Lead and Aluminum can also cause these exact same symptoms.

Us older folks were exposed to Mercury via sliver fillings but the younger generation it’s the slew of vaccines your exposed to and broken flourecent and compact bulbs.

So we all have the potential for exposure, some just deal with it better than others.

I had ongoing exposure with fillings but had a heath crash 4 weeks after combo vaccines. I did treat Lyme which did help but it was playing wack-a- mole. I’m doing much better treating for Mercury.

Not saying not to investagte Lyme but also consider Mercury as to why you have a comprised immune system. Best to join the facebook site called “Andy Cutler Chelation” and ask some questions.. warning it’s a self help group and your expected to do a lot of reading up on the info provided., Admins will point you to the files to read but you have plenty of Lymers that will give you their personal experience also.

I wasn't vaccined but that is something to look into.

I was treated by one guy that said I have Lyme, bartolla and Babesia and it seemed to help most of my symptoms but then I had a couple flare ups again yet the guy was too expensive to go to again and no insurance so I didn't do anything about it. Now after a couple really stressful life events I've had the worst crash ever.
Idk. I guess because I never got blood tests I always wondered if it was actually Lyme or not

Born around 1990,, yep you had all your childhood vaccines while most still had Thimerosal which is Mercury used as a preservative. That alone could be enough of many of us unfortunate percentage. Any exposure to Lead puts you at a higher risk and Aluminum in vaccines to prompt a immune response and using common deodorant is a another source and increases this risk

If your not chronically sick,, no worries .. However if you are and especially multiple symptoms I would consider this a factor.

I'm saying my parents didn't give me any vaccines and I was home schooled so it wasn't forced.

From the symptoms you describe, I definitely would suspect Lyme and co-infections and mold toxicity. I'm sorry to hear that knowledgeable medical care has been out-of-reach for you. There are many of us on this forum who have long and winding roads to diagnosis, and many who have positive Lyme test results still doubt their diagnoses because we all respond to treatments so differently. It seems typical to explore different paths, rule things out, and try a variety of treatments.

Which sorts of treatments did you try, and for how long?

P.S. I homeschool my child, and it's always nice to "meet" another homeschooler.

Yeah, I thought bartonella affected the heart. Maybe they all do.

Yes, it’s perfectly normal and common for regular doctors’ tests to come back “normal” and fail to validate the symptoms we experience. That is precisely why so many people do not get diagnosed quickly or correctly. Many tests will remain normal for years despite illness, but at some point the body starts to break down more and some standard labs will then become abnormal or borderline, like WBC, RBC, thyroid labs, liver or kidney labs. Some will also become ANA positive for autoimmune, but may reverse with proper treatment of Lyme/co.

I went to the doctor and now she's just trying to give me anxiety pills and says she's checked for everything.
I'm so frustrated. She is now telling me she can't test for Lyme so what's the best way for me to go about getting myself tested?
Also my boyfriend keeps saying it's all from depression.

Oh - she can test you for lyme...you may as well get the one that insurance covers...
I'm in Canada...which is even worse for recognizing lyme..and we have a lyme test.
Unfortunately there is the IFA/Elisa screening test - and it has to be positive before they will continue and do the WB.
My IFA was negative....so no WB done.
They may have changed that recently.

To get yourself tested you can order a test kit from Igenex. There is a lab req in the kit. The Lyme WB IgM and IgG costs a total of $250. A Dr. has to sign the lab req.
Then get the blood drawn...and send kit back to Igenex. Approximately 3 weeks later you'll have the results.

The do have two newer tests that are supposed to be more accurate: IGXSpot and Immunoblot.
They are similar to the Admin Labs (Europe) tests. I think they cost more than $250 for both though.

Will your Dr. at least sign a lab req for Igenex?

So can I justify ask my doctor to draw the blood? Or where do I get that part down. I think she would sign the forms.

Yes I will! I just came back to edit my post and ask which tests to get then saw you had already replied lol

Quest has a lyme test - ask your Dr again - if it’s covered by your insurance - may as well try it.

Maybe say to her that someone told you that Quest has a lyme test and you’d like to have it done.
