Oh yeah. Been that way for years now. Haven’t even turned 50 yet.
It can still be hearing related, and from what you said it probably is. There are different types of hearing loss, and it is often nerve related. It’s no wonder that Lyme/co and mold toxins can cause hearing loss as they are neurotoxic.
I recommend seeing a licensed audiologist for a complete hearing test. If you have never had one, it will be a baseline test for you.
I have been hearing impaired lifelong and wear hearing aids in both ears. I didn’t start wearing them until I was 30 except for 1 year as a child I wore an aid in one ear. I got by with lip reading and avoiding one-on-one conversation with people most of my life.
