Extreme pain from prolozone/ozone injections?

3 days ago I my first ozone injections in my jaw and shoulder. My jaw isn't any worse but my shoulder is in extreme pain. I have zero range of motion and get dull and sharp pains if I try to move it. The pain goes down my entire arm into my hand. I also have some numbness in my hand and can hear sounds in my shoulder if I move or squeeze it. My doctor said he's never seen this and isn't sure what to do.

I have a partially torn labrum in that shoulder. Could the pressure of the injection have made it tear more? He also said he injected it into the joint capsule. Could this have stretched or torn the capsule? I also have a connective tissue disorder so my joints aren't stable to begin with. I'm getting very worried about the symptoms I have right now and have no idea what to do.

ozone is an oxidizer. If I had a connective tissue disorder I would not be injecting an oxidizer into my joints. I wish I had some good advice for you. Maybe mega doses of vitamin C with lipoic acid might help, can't say for sure.

Is it possible that the injection hit a nerve? And that's what you're feeling?

Do you have a specialist for the connective tissue disorder? I would talk to that person very soon, if possible. I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this. How frustrating, especially since I'm sure you were hoping for relief! Did the pain begin during the injection or afterward?

Thats what i was thinking but the injection didn't hurt much going in. but they did use procaine first. maybe the pressure from the injection pinched a nerve. any idea how they would diagnose or treat this? i'm such a mess right now

If they hit a nerve -it may take awhile to heal. But I would have thought you’d feel it right away as it was going in.
Is the procaine an anesthetic that might have numbed it ?

I had a nerve injury with a blood draw at the local lab.
It was very very painful - it healed but took months... I though it was going to be permanent.

The procaine could have numbed a nerve injury, I would think. It's used for that in dentistry. I have had nerve injuries from acupuncture that hurt like crazy and took months to heal; Lyme makes our nerves far more sensitive to injury than other people's are. I bet Girlie is right about nerve injury, especially now that I re-read the part about the pain shooting down to your hand. You can do general things to support nerve health, but acutely I would recommend increasing circulation with massage, ice in case there's swelling, CBD either topically or internally (sale on Vital Plan CBD products today!), arnica homeopathic pellets, and arnica oil topically. For some nerve injuries, people get procaine and other anesthetic injections in order to manage the pain until it heals, since it can take a while.
