Dr Jones is turning 90!!
He’s been “trying” to retire for a few years now. Bless his heart.
Here’s an interview with him -
Is it just me - anyone else get emotional watching this?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qtsrfbvw8iu
Girlie,
Wow!! Thank you for posting this link. Yes, I got emotional when he talked about
how he asks the kids if it’s all gone and believes what they tell him. I can’t imagine having a doctor like that as an adult, much less as a child. I had health issues as a young child and never felt heard like that. It really affected me to hear him talk about
that.
I wondered about
what he said about
first finding out all the infections they have. If testing is so bad, how does he identify them all?
Then he said you have to treat all the infections at the same time. How can you do that with antibiotics?
98% cure rate he says.
Why are other LLMD’s not treating adults following his methodologies?==========================
I’m assuming he clinically diagnoses along with testing.
I have heard that his protocols are “killer” ie - several abx at once.
Dr J (my LLMD) also uses several at once but you don’t take them daily - 8 days a month or less.
It’s not difficult to treat several infections at once - ie lyme, bart, erhlichia, mycoplasma... etc
The difficult ones to treat together are bart and Babesia because Rifampin/Rifabutin shouldn’t be taken together with Mepron and those are commonly prescribed for those infections.
But he could be using alternates - perhaps bactrim (bart) and Mepron together (Babesia)
Or maybe he prescribes the fluoroquinolones (bart) with mepron(Babesia)
Or maybe he treats bart one week and Babesia the next week?
Not sure.
98% - I wonder about
that.
I think my Dr (J) has said 80% success in his practice and would be higher if people stuck with it.
But how accurate is that?
If I were to stop treating - never made another appt - wouid he even notice?
Wouid I be included as a failure or a success?
I’ve improved and am on “Maintenance “ now but I’m not in remission yet... but maybe I’m already the treatment success “list”
