Lyme Rash Treatment?

Ok, this may appear to be an odd question coming from me, but I am quite unfamiliar with lyme rashes being itchy and even painful. My friend has started treatment of antibiotics, but the rash is bothering her so much. She has been putting antibiotic cream and hydrocortisone on it, but the hydrocortisone is not helping. Any other ideas? I would think an epson salt bath would cause it to hurt more. Can't think of anything else except an anti-inflammatory cream. TIA

I tried the other day Vicks Vapor Rub.. actually the dollar store brand, on a spot on my arm. I was suspicious that it would work and then eventually make it worse, but its been day 2 and not worse in fact all the problems are gone on that spot. I'm going to try it on a different spot. It is menthol based and sold in any pharmacy for children. Make sure you open it before you buy and somebody didn't finger dip it.

my LLND gave me anti-mold medication that also helped a lot but that might be specific to my treatment, although I'm just going to say if you have lyme or suspect you have lyme, I'm 99.9% you also have a mold problem.
