Success with IVIG?

Has anyone here had-or know of someone who has had- IVIG and recovered with it? I had a doc a few years ago who wanted to treat me for bartonella then use IVIG. Bartonella is the only only infection I've tested positive for.

Im starting to wonder if continuing through with him would have been the right move

Thanks, Walking. I haven't seen many who have real severe psych symptoms so there is a small pool to ask. I wonder if immunotherapy has helped anyone like that

I was wondering the same think. I do have some psyc stuff going on and I would like to be evaluated for Autoimmune Ecephilitus. If I could rid my self of the psch stuff and tinnitus I would be good to go! All other symptoms have subsided.

Woodduck - what have you treated thus far?
I had tinnitus (it was the pulsatile form) and mine was 90% after Mepron and abx for Babesia.
Then I went on Rifabutin, dapsone, daraprim, Ceftin, mino and it slowly resolved completely.

I think perhaps the Babs treatment was enough - and it just needed some time to completely subside.
So the Rif, Ceftin, d and, mino may not have played a part
