I have read that zonulin is a marker for intestinal permeability. How is this tested? Are any other tests done to determine intestinal permeability?

In the past, I read it tests zonulin, but the site does not say.

I though we had a post on this 1-2 yrs ago, cant find it now.

Says you must use one of their Drs, but there were some online Drs selling this, you dont have to be physically present with them.

thee gut guy here sends off where occult blood , pus and charcot crystals are the measure of how much damage is there and what parasitic insults are causing it....

An IGG food test will indicate if your gut is leaking as it'll show which foods are generating an immune system response. Plus, it'll tell you which foods are causing your issue so you can avoid them for a while. We did the Alletest test but I don't recommend it because they only test the "raw" version of foods. There are better tests which test raw and cooked versions of food. I think Cyrex offers it?

The food test was fairly accurate and was a quick way to find out what my mother could and could not eat. It took a year of eating only whole foods before she could even tolerate the doctor prescribed supplement to heal her leaky gut -- SBI Protect.

Issue with diagnosing leaky gut with foods is that everyones gut "leaks" a little- thats how we absorb. A "leaky gut" leaks larger than normal food particles - "the screen" has opened up.

Leap MRT (Mediator Response Test) , $350 US , test is considered the best and most advanced food test, but does not measure antibodies, it measures cytokin release to foods from your blood's immune cells.. - they dont mention it to diagose leaky gut.

Dude- do they do anything consumer direct or only through their select drs? I’m wondering the cost, didn’t say on their site that I could see.
