TESTED POSITIVE ON IgM, AND BANDS 23 AND 39....AM WAITING TO REDO THE LYME TEST, BUT WOULD LIKE TO KNOW OF A LLMD IN HUDSON VALLEY TO SEE....THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP....MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR HAS OFFERED TWO OPTIONS GO ON ANTIBIOTICS FOR 2 WEEKS OR REDO THE TEST IN 2-4 WEEKS....I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO....HELP! THANK YOU.

There’s Dr C in Mt Kisco and Dr Horowitz in Hyde Park and Dr L in Pawling. I wrote out their full names because these guys are practicing LLMDs and don’t hide it ( so hope it’s ok ).

Dr L is the one who’s had success with Disulfiram.

I imagine it’s probably easier to get into C. Not sure what any of them charge but probably none take insurance ( although a few years ago my dad went to C and he took Medicare- not sure if he still does).

I’m not sure what the point is of redoing the lyme test?
You’re positive Those two bands are lyme specific.

If this is a recent infection - ie in the past few weeks - then I’d take the antibiotics for two weeks and make an appt with a LLMD - ASAP. Hopefully you can get an appt within 3-4 weeks.

If this is an infection you’ve had for several months or longer - then I’d prob wait for the LLMD appt. but still try and get one ASAP.
