Hi,
I just took three Armin tests - Tick plus, EliSpot for Borellia, & EliSpot for Bartonella. Tickplus came back as IGM positive but both EliSpot tests were negative. What does this mean? I read somewhere that if your CD57 T cells are low, EliSpot tests may not work...is this true?
I was diagnosed over two and a half years ago with a very positive Igenex test plus textbook symptoms. I have improved in the last couple of years but still sick and still dealing with some of my worst symptoms. The reason I was just retested was my doctor wanted to see if I had round body persisters. He wanted me to get these tests when I asked about starting Disulfiram. I get the feeling he isn’t keen or does not prescribe this medication. Anyways, I am very confident that I still have active Bartonella - red scratch marks, extreme light sensitivity, brain fog, achy bottom of feet and achy quads and just feel like crap. How accurate is the Bartonella EliSpot test?
Thanks,
Kelly
