My 17 year old has recently been diagnosed with mycoplasma. He also just had a full work up for Lyme and it was negative. I am looking for someone to take him to to look into PANDAS/PANS. I’m in Utah but willing to travel....I just need someone really good who can figure out what is going on and knows exactly what to do. Drowning in these psychiatric flares. Please send me any info you can. Thanks so much.

Welcome to our forum.

Negative results on Lyme testing doesn't rule lyme out. There is a high rate of false negatives.

There is a link between PANDAS/PANS and Bartonella....which is a Lyme co-infection.

You should change your thread title to: Looking for LLMD in Utah.

You can also email me...I do have a list of LLMD's....I can check if I have any in Utah State...or nearby.
Although recommendations are better.

Edit: I checked my list and I have two LLMD's listed in Utah.
I don't have any reviews/comments on them.

Thanks for your welcome and suggestions Girlie. His doctor said she understands that Lyme testing can be negative but that she goes by a level or marker in white blood cells and that his was fine. I don’t know what to think. This is all new to me...and is the reason I’m searching for an experienced doctor who will take it seriously. I enabled my email. Thanks in advance for any info you can send!

This is obviously not a Lyme literate Dr.

I was undiagnosed for 14 months - all my labs were good...including white blood cells. Nothing showed up during those 14 months that would indicate anything was 'wrong' with me.

I am away from my computer....at the moment...I'm using my phone to post.
Could you send me an email....I'm liable to forget when I get home.
