For ending the post on Marty. I am not trying to re-
open it but thought a lot about
after I initially read it yesterday and it caused anxiety, anger and sadness.
When I first came to this forum, I felt like I had struck gold. It seemed that each question I was about
to ask, some one already had and I have learned a lot from all of you. Now, it seems that many times I log on, it feels like there is some type of bantering, someone trying to be right - vested in proving a point or making another wrong or "less than". It is beginning to feel like Facebook or other social media outlets, which are notorious for that. I understand that we are here to share information and opinions which I appreciate so long as it is done in the spirit of support.
I have been a patient of MR's and would do so again. I am not going to touch on the disulfiram convo because you have cleared that up. He wasn't shut down by the board, they had been investigating him for a long and hard and he was proactive in shuttering his practice for the sake of his patients. He gave us 2 months notice so that we could find other care instead of having the state medical board come in and close him and seize his records. He's not God's gift to Lyme, just a man trying to make a difference. He is an amazing Lyme ally and advocate and in my opinion, we could use many more like him.
And for goodness sakes... he doesn't channel spirits
