Cholestyramine and Modified Citrus Pectin and Disulfiram.

Hey everyone.

I been taking Cholestyramine to help detox from mold exposure as well as dead Lyme bacteria.

Seems like the disulfiram is killing a lot of bugs and the Cholestyramine seems to clear it out of my system nicely along with getting the mold out as well.

I feel the best I have felt in years. My 24/7 migraines have all but dissapeared...hand tremor 90% better, air hunger getting better, act.

I have ran out of Cholestyramine from one manufacturer and I have another 60 packets from another manufacturer which I decided not to take after it made my throat sore. The Indian company that makes it has had recent troubles with the FDA and crappy manufacturing processes. Its called "Cadila Healthcare Ltd.".

That said, the other Cholestyramine ive been taking for the last month didn't make my throat sore. This FDA letter about this company made me worried to take their product for fear it was contaminated or not pure.

I have some pure Cholestyramine coming from a source of mine which won't get here for a couple weeks.

In the interim I was going to take some modified citrus pectin.

Does anyone have experience with both?

What are the differences?

I know they are both bile acid sequestratiants but what makes Cholestyramine supposedly stronger than the citrus pectin?

Is anyone else taking Cholestyramine and disilfiram?

Did Cholestyramine ever make anyone's throat sore?

I'm making great progress with the combo and would like to discuss with some people with experience.

Hi, Lapis - Is okra close to cholestyramine in the sense that it binds the same mycotoxins? I have read that cholestyramine is the best binder for ochratoxin specifically, so it would be great to know about an alternative for the same purpose.

FlatERF - Makes sense to me to discontinue to cholestyramine that caused a sore throat and to take a different binder in the mean time. MCP, bentonite clay, activated charcoal, and others are very effective binders depending on which mycotoxins you are aiming to bind. Thanks for the update on how you are doing. So exciting to hear of your progress!

I like the PAR pharmaceutical brand of cholestyramine. Costco gave me another brand on a refill once and it was really chauky, so I asked for PAR and they fill it with that ever since.
