Running Wild, so sorry you have been thru so much! when I was at my worst, lets say that would be feeling a 20% out of 100. Once I recovered I was 100%, and then maybe 95% for years until last summer, when I had my major relapse. At this point I was maybe 60% out of 100 - but I only had one problem, which was a bladder issue. But it made my life a living hell. My bladder problem (which resembled interstitial cystitis), was one of my initial symptoms when I first got sick. I felt like I went thru it all over again last summer, and it took a few weeks to pass. Once I got out of it, I was back to 95%. Right now, I am feeling 80% bc I can't exercise. For me, Exercise is what keeps the Lyme at bay. So long as I was exercising 3 times a week, taking my vitamins, and getting enough sleep, I felt awesome. So now bc my shoulder is so messed up, I can't do much. I am thinking about trying bikram yoga maybe over the next few weeks, until my shoulder is good enough to start lifting weights again (my forte). I just had a procedure done today called ultrasound guided needle aspiration to get the calcification out of my shoulder. It was causing tremendous pain and limiting my range of motion as well as (I think) causing my fingers and neck muscles to hurt. I am hoping in the next week or two the inflammation will go down, my other problems will subside, and I will be on my way back to 100%. I have alot of work to do though, bc there is visible atrophy of my shoulder too (not sure if its bc i wasn't using it or bc lyme was hanging out there), but I am ready for it, I yearn so much to feel the way I did only a year and a half ago!!!
Yes, Cheers to 2020!
are you treating your symptoms right now, may I ask?
