Hi.
I feel like death and my bart is reaaly bad. I took 100mg mino for 3 weeks and have bart rashes every 6 or 7 days.
My llmd ( France) put me on IV gentamicin since yesterday. I feel horrible, can t moove, nerve pain in all my body, radiculitis, allodynia and all my usual symptoms 100 times worse.
Anyone who took this med before ? I know it must be a herx but detox doesnt touch the symptoms and I never improved after my endless herxes for 3 and a half years now.

My father was on Gentamicin too long for endocarditis. The drug caused inner ear problems (permanent balance issues).

Wow. The never ending herxes and no relief from detoxing especially on mino was me. I had to stop. I have no idea what to try next.

hey bullekid glad ur still trucking and found someone to administer the hardcore stuff. are your ears and kidneys holding up?

if afterwards you still need to wallop bart try the zhang combo of hh2 and allicin in large doses from hepapro.com . they gave me some gentle gains quickly after i was taxed from iv abx and orals ..

Hi all and happy to see you bluelyme.. How are you ?
5 days of genta and mino were 5 days of hell and it is still hell.
I take mino and dapsone now (25mg).
A new llmd tries to ease my pain and thinks I need a quadritherapy.
I take crypto for bab and houttuynia for bart ( cant order hh2 in Europe). I have to be careful with this herb because I tend to become a crazy woman with bart herxes. Allicin I can t unfortunately because of cbs mutation.
We are trying antihistamine combo in case my endless herxes are in fact MCAS.
And I dont forget the bees, maybe I will use them again in spring.
So I am still in agony but I wish you an haapy new year with oot of healing for all of us !

Hey Bullekideambule! Happy to hear you are pulling through, albeit with some heavier-hitting drugs/herbs half of which I haven't tried yet, or rather had the painful luxury of trying...

Clam Digger, and yeah that's why I am wary of things like nerve damage and neuropathy... which are understandable cautions, no one wants semi-permanent/permanent damage whether it was caused by bacteria ravages, MCAS, or the antibiotics themselves, or some not very well understood unknown quantity of all three!
