Been there 100% I agree with Girlie, it will be a good thing to go to see an ILADS doc and have them do a good work up on you.
First thing you must know is that this is fully reversible and will go away. Second, I want to give you a few tips that helped me immensely with the anxiety, mood fluctuations and feelings of fear.
Mast cell issues are common for us and can contribute greatly to our sensitivity to our environments. Food, chemicals, air quality. The more you can reduce the burden hitting your body the better. Eat a low histamine diet. Pay attention to any other foods that may trigger you so you can be aware of them. Avoid sugar and dairy just because they are inflammatory.
Detox. Gentle things like dry skin brushing and warm Epsom salt baths. Drink plenty of water. Lemon water is good here but I'm hesitant because lemon is also a histamine so trial it slowly if you'd like.
Alleviating problem foods and avoiding environmental triggers went a huge way toward helping my mood and anger issues.
Now, for the anxiety. The above should hopefully help but there are some things to try. L-theanine is hugely helpful and I've never seen any side effects. For some ashwagandha is calming, too. Even though it sounds kooky, watching the sunset (infrared) and sitting under an IR bulb at night can help calm one down. Gargling. This stimulates the vagus nerve and thus activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which is calming. Also look into the DNRS system, it does help
I hope this helps you get on track a bit. Also, I know it seems marginal but keeping proper circadian rhythms and avoiding light at night helps your sleep a ton. Get sun in your eyes every morning before 10 am and again about
an hour before sunset. Keep screens away after that and if you must, use a red light filter. Combine all these protocols and you'll be sleeping with little problems again.
EDIT: I just re-read your post and a LOT of what you describe sounds like Mast cells (MCAS) Blurry vision, crying spells, anger spouts, insomnia, joint pain, weakness. All of it. Here's what helps the most for me-
1) avoid all histamine foods and any others that you notice give you issues (you'll notice within about
20 minutes)
2) stay hydrated
3) take 500-750 mg inositol powder before every meal and 2-3 other times daily.
4) hugely important!- up your antioxidant intake. A lot. Quercetin is amazing. 2-4000 mg/day. Rutin is also great and less expensive. Use both. vitamin A. Vitamin C but ONLY as camu-camu powder. Regular vitamin C is made from peanut hulls and can exacerbate your existing MCAS. Vitamin C is a mast cell stabalizer.
If you do all those along with regular detoxes I bet you'll be hugely improved and out of the danger zone quickly. Please report back and tell us how you're doing.
