I think it’s more likely that the idea of “Hey, let’s have tons of deer in our backyard for Ozzy’s bday party” that led to Kelly’s first tick bite and subsequent Lyme disease could have also allowed ticks to infect Jack and possibly Ozzy.

Or Ozzy could have just wrecked his system with decades of heavy dangerous drug abuse and alcoholism - there are potential links.

Not saying Lyme being contagious isn’t possible, just saying there are other possibilities.
