If any of you have seen the recent horror flick Midsommar, from the director of Hereditary (Ari Aster)...some of the
opening scenes....tall grass, a path that goes deep in the woods..some of the characters then ruminate about
bugs, Lyme disease...which if you have Lyme Disease makes the movie seem like a cruel joke or else an extension of a Lyme-induced fever dream/nightmare...
don't want to totally spoil it for any of you (it's on Amazon Prime video streaming if you can get it) but a character talks about
an uncle who has Lyme, and then they mention that Sweden has a "tick problem."
Interesting to see the popular/mainstream view of this uncannily familiar disease...
...people walking through tall (likely tick-infested) grass...and then the mind-altered horror show that follows is...something?
edit: I just thought I'd mention it if anyone likes Horror movies, I guess most of us would prefer comedies though, and it might trigger some, though I usually skip or avoid them nowadays.
