Bartonella Scratches - Scabby

Does anyone else get scratch marks that are scabby or bleed?

That sounds awful. I just had labs. Platelets were 270 - low middle range - so I don’t think I have thrombocytopenia.

I used to have larger scratches in the same general area that would appear every morning. I would find spots of blood on my shirt and would see the scratches in the mirror when in the bathroom getting out of the shower. I could feel a little row of scabs where the scratches were like a perforated line.

I rarely get them anymore, but I noticed them yesterday. Much smaller than they used to be. Just curious if others’ scratches from bartonella are similar or ever bleed.

I’ve had several different rashes over the past several years - but none have bled.
