Does anyone know if Nutricology/Allergy Research Group is still making the Super Artemisinin? I had a hard time finding it recently and paid $70+ for a bottle of 60 caps. If I can't get it, may have to see what LLPA recommends for a substitute. Thanks.

Can’t you buy the non super one ?

What’s the difference between the two?

The non super one doesn't have the 20mg of Sweet Wormwood Oil. That may be the only difference. I asked my LLPA awhile back if I could use the regular Artemisinin or needed the Super Artemisinin, and she said I should use the Super.

I think the other one is expensive too... maybe not as though.

I got this artemisinin instead and it seemed just as good as the allergy research brand to me (it's also not too expensive).

Thanks, Notime4lyme. That's probably what I'll use if it gets to where I can't get the Super. I e-mailed my LLPA to see what she would substitute if it got to that point.

My LLPA recommended Doctor's Best Artemisinin if I can't get the Super.

Could you not take regular artemisinin along with a tincture of sweet wormwood, thereby making your own super-artemisinin?

That's a possibility, Seb4 (don't know if you'll see this). Perhaps I'll mention it to my LLPA at next appt.

Was just searching for a Nutricology Super Artemisinin source and saw my old thread. I had forgotten my LLPA had recommended the Doctor's Best Artemisinin. That's probably what I'll do for now.

sounds like a good suggestion - and buhner also advocates using the semi-synthetic Artemisinin along side a artemisia tincture - as the literature study he performed suggests there are compounds in the plants crude extracts that counteract the rapid adaptation in the liver that results in rapidly reducing blood to around 1/10 of original concentrations by day 8 of artemisinin only treatment.

he also says - even so do not take for more than 30 days - and if its going to work - it will work by then.
