One trick is to use creatine since 70% of your SAMe is used for ATP production, thus leaving you w/ plenty of SAMe for everything else. Seems to be working so far.
dcd2103, I love to hear about
these "tricks"...really one that I keep going back to is NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) as the precursor to Glutathione, and another, that HTP-5 is the precursor to Tryptophan? Serotonin? I forget, and ALCAR (Acetyl L-Carnitine) is the precursor to something else, I can't remember. I had loaded up on these supplements, but I'm running low on Creatine right now. And I managed to get a hold of some more NTFactor which helps with ATP/Mitochondrial function I think. Nice to know our bodies can make the right organic chemicals, if we give it the right food and supplements. I know many folks aren't too keen on the science of it (my parents might only take a probiotic at the most and ignore the rest), but I feel a difference when I have a supply that I'm taking.
As far as the EBV I'm not sure that I've ever had that test done, but I did have a TORCH panel done, and I have reactivated CMV (Cytomegalovirus) and another relative of this same cold sore family (HSV-1 is related to EBV) that usually flares up during stress. It is painful, I get back pains, nerve pain, fever blisters I think the Lyme n cos make one more susceptible.
