Most people in science or engineering learned this, one time everyone knew this. Few younger Drs today know this. Copper kills viruses and bacteria on contact.

Our modern age lack of copper pipes, door knobs and hand rails are increasing germs again, its all plastic or aluminum today.

In the 1800's it was common to have copper coins in ones pockets just to hold/rub occasionally.

I thought it was so interesting when I first heard about this. I guess copper is probably more expensive than other metals, though.

Yes on the out side. They are now copper plated zinc.

Funny that zinc is what stops corona from internally replicating in us when combined with malaria/babs drug (see corona post)

At work we recently duct-taped bent U shaped copper rods to the door handles to pull on. Kills any germs on contact.

Hi guys. Interesting topic here. Because excessive zinc intake can cause copper deficiency, bought a copper pitcher/glass. My family member has a zinc deficiency & takes supplemental zinc. Searching 'Aurvedic Copper' on ebay offers seemingly endless results....most from India. Not sure but think there may be long delays in mail/package exports/deliveries coming from India.

Yes we do.

Thats right Canada just canned pennies not to long ago?

That just makes everything four cents more......or do they round up at checkout? That makes it hard to balance end of day "books".
