Adrenals and cortef

I’ve been on various adrenal supplements for five years with no improvement so my doctor just put me on cortef. However, cortef cannot be taken long term since it’ll become immunosuppressant... are there any other adrenal prescriptions that can be taken long term?

As Quinn stated in low doses (not autoimmune disease doses) are fine. In fact sometimes they are necessary.


so possibly 5 mg daily or even lower could help

She started me on 5mg but I think I’ll need to be around 20-25 mg to feel okay.... is this too high??
