I’m struggling with treating bartonella and I had a diet question. I’ve been staying off dairy, gluten and eating low carb. I was wondering if dairy would be okay to have if I feel okay when I have small amounts of it or take a lactase pill with it. Is eating dairy something that would be bad for treatment?

I do have some dairy in my diet. But, I don't have any stomach/gi issues with these diseases.

generally...a little cheese.

Right now, I do eat some cheese and yogurt.

I think my LLPA told me to avoid eating much dairy at the time I take my ABX.

Are you on mino or doxy? It can lessen the absorption...if I'm remembering correctly.

Girlie, I think my LLPA told me about the dairy when I started the Lyme Induction which did include mino, so it's possibly that dairy is not an issue with some ABX I guess.
