I know there are other causes of high B12 levels, but I am reading that a number of people with Lyme disease have high B12. Is it related to the MTHFR mutation where the body can't detox well enough and the heavy metals and B12 levels rise? I know you can't change genetics. What can she take to reduce the high B12 levels, methyl B12, anything else? Can this mutation be tested for with bloodwork? My mom is going to talk to her LLMD this week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated beforehand. Thanks!
