Disulfiram depresión and anxiety

I have had depresión and anxiety for little over a month i thaught it was a dopamine unbalance since i lowered the dose but days ago I realized it was maby a herx since i got real bad after my dose its been 9 days and i still feel pretty bad has anyone on DSF gone through somthing similar? And if so how long after stoping DSF did the anxiety stop?

I also have depression and anxiety while on disulfiram.I am also having trouble sleeping at night,it’s like my brain won’t shut off.Where as in the day time I get really sleepy but it’s still like my brain don’t won’t to shut off and. Sleep.I am starting to get concerned.

Psych side effects seem common with disulfiram, and many others do stop taking it because of intolerable psych symptoms. Check out the other posts here about disulfiram. Hang in there!

I would guess it's related to dopamine/norepinephrine changes rather than herx. If you're coming off of the drug it's probably best to taper your dosages down every week or 2 so your body can adjust gradually. Either way it will be sorted out eventually, perhaps 2-4 weeks after stopping
