My functional doc had me order the dna connexions test as I can’t get positives on the MDL test and thought it was the next best.
I think doctors may be seeing things that don’t match because a large percentage of the population is asymptomatically carrying a co infection. They also don’t test for every single type of bartonella or babesia. So one could display babesia symptoms but not have one of the 3-4 strains dna tests, and they may asymptomatically have a strain of bart which showed on the test.
I have a couple ?’s.. how were you tested for CIRS and negative? Unless you’re asymptomatic in general, Lyme/bartonella etc produce a similar inflammatory response/hormone dysregulation that makes mold hard to diagnose over an infection.
Also for mold testing. What type of test was done? I had 3 professional tests done before they caught anything. They were air tests which I’ll never use again, ERMI is the best route. My ND was also over focused on the mold, bartonella symptoms can be nearly identical.
