I've gone really downhill very quickly after a dose of augmentin. I was in remission and this was a fatal blow. I'm trying to figure out if it was a side effect or if it put me in a full flare. Definitely not a herx. I don't know what to do

Lost 18 pounds very quickly and still loosing.
No appetite
Severe Nausea/dry heaves
Shaking like Parkinson's internal tremors all over
My head shaking constantly that people can't see.
Violent head Lyme seizure. that people can see
Not sleeping and have weird Neuro issues.
Feeling dementia like and I'm in my 40s

My family hates me because I'm now useless. My husband who has Lyme doesn't believe me.

Went to ER and they said that they couldn't see me shaking and sent me on my way.
Went to a lyme naturopath who doesn't believe I have Lyme because I was igm+ 6 years ago from igenx and he doesn't trust their lab. So I paid 700 for the consult and all he recommended was a diet change.***.

I'm medicine and supplement sensitive so that doesn't help either.

Sounds like Bart???

I’m quite sure Bartonella is my dominant infection.
Your list above - I have/ have had the quick weight loss, tremors (visible), interrupted sleep, dementia symptoms (poor memory, confusion...)

Are you still on the Augmentin? Did it bust open biofilms maybe? I was put on Augmentin 10 years ago (for a non-existent dental infection), and all it did was give me c diff -- I don't recall having a herx at the time, and I'm sure I had Lyme and Bart then, though it was mostly dormant.

Are you taking any binders like charcoal, and do they help? Are you on herbs? I definitely have had shaking and tremors from Bartonella.
